"Sine" Locus amoenus

These are three footage of a scene I'm creating, called " "Sine" Locus amoenus ".
The main purpouse of these renders is to represent a place which were great in the past, but now are uninhabited and desolated.
I took reference from literature of ancient Rome. In fact, as you can see, the name of this project is in ancient latin.
The name "locus amoenus" means a pleasant and beautiful place, and it is a literary topos used to indicate an idealized place.
The preposition "sine" means without.
With those words I wanted to represent the privation of beauty from a place which used to be great in the past, and the roman style I used is a tribute to the original meaning of project title itself.

For this project I used Unreal Engine 4 with Megascans meshes and textures, the light is completely made by Unreal and I used the Sky Atmospheric feature of the 4.26 version to make the Directional Light more realistic when going through the clouds.

I hope you'll enjoy this project (which will grow in the future) and the meaning behind!
